Living In Tough Times

Have you ever been in a situation that you did not know what to do? You have tried everything you can think of, but nothing changes. Uncertainty looms in your mind. One thing is sure, if something doesn't happen, you are going to be on the loosing end.

God has a word for us in times like these. It is found in Joshua 1:9:
"Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; Be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed; for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."

God was about to take the nation of Israel into the promise land. He was about to bless them.
There was some difficult times ahead of them. They were going to face some problems they never faced before. So God commanded them to "be strong and of good courage".

Today, no matter what you are facing, the command from God is the same, "be strong and of good courage". Don't fear any thing or anybody, because God is with you. He knows what you are going through. He knows what you need.

You have to be strong enough to stand on His Word. And courageous enough to wait patiently on the Lord.

You have to be strong enough follow His commands. and courageous enough to expect God to fulfill His promises to you.

Do not focus on your circumstances, focus on God's promises. God controls all circumstances.
God is waiting on you to trust Him and Him only. Call on God now.

Be strong and be of good courage. God is on your side.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I am waiting to hear from you.

Success God's Way

In the last chapters of the book of Deuteronomy, God prepares the Nation of Israel to enter

the promise land. He promises that Israel will be prosperous if they follow His commands,

His statutes and His judgements.

Chapter 30:9 is the conditional promise of success:

1. Success with the work of your hands

2. Success in your family

3. Success in your investments

In Chapter 30: 10, God gives the keys to success:

1. Listen to the Words of the Lord

2. Do His commands

3. Observe His statutes

4. Love the Lord with all you heart

The same promise God made to the Nation of Israel, He makes with us today. Real lasting

success comes to us when we follow God's commands.
