Bible Study : The Battle Is Not Yours

VICTORY IS YOURS

2 Chronicles  20:1-25

15 He said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's.

God has a vested interest in your life so He takes charge of you enemy.

Eph 6:12
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Paul figured it out
Your problem is not with the person that causing your problems,
but what influences him to be what he does.

We can address the one who caused our pain, but that want change the
attitude of the person.

According to Ephesians 6:12, it is Satan that influences those who
want to harm you. He is the father of lies.

We are not equipped to fight the devil
We can resist the devil

It not flesh and blood, but spiritual wickedness in high places that
That causes our problems

How do we gain victory in our life

Eph 6:11-13
Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Success is found in trusting God with the victory of your life

In this lesson God show us the path to success

GO TO GOD IN PRAYER
2 Chron 20:1-4
20 After this, the Moabites and Ammonites with some of the Meunites
came to make war on Jehoshaphat.
2 Some men came and told Jehoshaphat, "A vast army is coming against you from Edom, from the other side of the Sea. It is already in Hazazon Tamar" 3 Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the Lord, and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah. 4 The people of Judah came together to seek help from the Lord ; indeed, they came from every town in Judah to seek him.

FAMILY PRAYER
1. When God gives you advance notice that trouble is on the way.
    Act on it.
2. Go to God in prayer immediately
3. When it involves family and community, get everybody together
     to pray.

GOD KNOWS YOUR SITUATION, BUT HE WANTS TO HEAR FROM YOU
2 Chron 20:6-7
"O Lord , God of our fathers, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you.

4. Explain your situation as you understand it, to God in prayer.
Look at the conversation of the king with God. Verse 6-12
5. God knows your situation, but He wants to hear from you in prayer.
6. Express you confidence that He can handle your problem
You have to speak success into your life

LISTEN TO THE VISION GOD GIVES
2 Chron 20:14-16
14 Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite and descendant of Asaph, as he stood in the assembly.
15 He said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord  says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's.

8. Listen to the vision God gives the shepherd.
    a. Do not be afraid
    b. This command is repeated more often than any other command
         in the Bible
    c. God has taken an interest in your battle.
    d. He paid the price for your life on the cross
    e. He brought you out of darkness to keep you in the light.

STAND ON GOD’S PROMISES
WHAT DOES STANDING LOOK LIKE
2 Chron 20:16-17
16 Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the Desert of Jeruel. 17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem

Eph 6:11
Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.

NIV
Eph 6:14-18
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

THE ARMOR OF GOD
     1. The belt of truth ; The Gospel of Jesus Christ
Be conscience of the truth that in the Bible
     2. The breastplate of righteousness;    Practice living a holy life
     3. Shod your feet with Gospel.;  Put on your shoes to carry the Gospel of
         peace
     4.  The shield of faith ‘     the evidence of things unseen,
that is believing God is going fight the battle

    5. The helmet  of salvation;  the hope of continual safety and protection

    6. The sword of the spirit;  Belief in the Word brings fulfillment of soul,
        and unlimited confidence.

THE ENPOWERING PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
   7. Praying always with out ceasing;    constant communication with God.

   9. Worshiping God on your knees

   10 Praise God with songs

Ps 91:5-8
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.

REWARD FOR STANDING
2 Chron 20:23-25
The men of Ammon and Moab rose up against the men from Mount Seir to destroy and annihilate them. After they finished slaughtering the men from Seir, they helped to destroy one another.
24 When the men of Judah came to the place that overlooks the desert and looked toward the vast army, they saw only dead bodies lying on the ground; no one had escaped.

 25 So Jehoshaphat and his
men went to carry off their plunder, and they found among them a great
amount of equipment and clothinge and also articles of value — more than
 they could take away.

God has planned a victory for you and all you got to do is STAND

God does not get rid of your battles, He take you to the battle

to stand and see His Glory

There is a great reward for standing on God’s promises

ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS STAND AND WATCH
GOD PUT AN END TO THIS VIRUS.

This Week's Sunday School Lesson, "Make Jesus Your King", 2 Chronicles 37:15-25, 5/10/2020

MAKE JESUS YOUR KING

Ezekiel 37:15-25

A HOUSE DIVIDED WILL NOT STAND
V:15 The word of the Lord  came to me: 16 "Son of man, take a stick of wood and write on it, 'Belonging to Judah and the Israelites associated with him.' Then take another stick of wood, and write on it, 'Ephraim's stick, belonging to Joseph and all the house of Israel associated with him.' 17 Join them together into one stick so that they will become one in your hand.
A. A house divided cannot stand,
   1.  When you fall away from God, you divide yourself away from
        His House.
   2. After the death of King Solomon, Israel became a divided nation.
   3. The southern nation included the tribes of Judah and Benjamin.
   4. The northern nation was the other ten tribes.
   5. Israel quickly lost sight of the God who freed them from
       slavery in Egypt.
   6. They erected idol altars and worshiped idol gods.
   7.  As a result, God planned their destruction and
        Babylonian captivity
B. In the first 36 chapters of Ezekiel, God gave the prophecy of the
destruction of Israel because of their sinfulness.
    1. In Chapter 37, He speaks of the restoration of Israel
        back to the promised land.
    2. In spite of our sinfulness, God keeps his promises.
    3. The promise God made to Abraham and David was a
         reigning king in Israel forever.
  C. Through Ezekiel, God foretold the destruction of Israel
and its restoration into a united country.
     1. The God we serve is merciful enough to allow us to sin
against Him, and then through trials and tribulations, draw us back
         to Himself.

KNOW THE WORD AND PROCLAIM IT TO OTHERS
V:18 "When your countrymen ask you, 'Won't you tell us what you mean by this?' 19 say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign Lord  says: I am going to take the stick of Joseph — which is in Ephraim's hand — and of the Israelite tribes associated with him and join it to Judah's stick, making them a single stick of wood, and they will become one in my hand.'

A. This prophecy looks forward to the first and second coming of
     Jesus Christ.
   1. After the 70 year captivity, Israel was brought back to the promise
       land, but still remained divided.
   2. The death and resurrection of Christ paved the way for all Israel to be
        saved.
   3. It was their rejection of Jesus that sent Him to the cross.
   4. Israel today’ as a whole does not claim Jesus as Lord and Savior.
B. In Christ, we are all one with Him
    1. Today, Israel only occupies a  portion of the promised land.
    2. The people are not one nation because they fail to recognize
the love God has for them is the same as their neighbors.
    3. They fail to recognize that their neighbors are their brothers.
    4. Doing the time of Christ, 600 years later, the Jews and the
        Samaritans hated each other.
    5. Today the people in the promised land, who called themselves by
different names are at war with each other.

FAITH IN GOD UNITES US IN HIM
V:20 Hold before their eyes the sticks you have written on 21 and say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land. 22 I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel.
A. Israel is broken. It will take God to put them back together again.
    1. Some people are broken and don’t know they are broken
    2. Their brokenness is their norm.
    3. Our brokenness is due to a lack of faith in Jesus.
B. Today Israel is scattered all over the world.
    1. They have made their home in places God does not desire.
    2. God's divinely designed family cannot find peace in the divinely
        designated promise land.
    3. Israel was designed to be the role model of God’s righteousness.
    4. Because of their disobedience, God caused them to be scattered.
C. The God we ser knows our exact location.
    1. God is mindful of His people and the promises He made to them.
    2. We should never lose sight of God or His design for our lives.
    3. In His time, God will bring us to the place He wants us to be.
    4. God desires us to be complete in Him.
    5. We will not find completion outside of God’s commands.

ONE LORD, ONE SAVIOR, ONE KING
V:22 There will be one king over all of them and they will never again be two or be divided into two kingdoms. 23 They will no longer defile themselves with their idols and vile images or with any of their offenses, for I will save them from all their sinful backsliding, and I will cleanse them. They will be my people, and I will be their God.
A. God is determined to be the one true living God of our lives.
    1. On our own, we do not have the spiritual strength to choose
        God.
    2. We have been drawn to God over our fleshly desires.

        John 6:44
Jesus answered, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent
me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day.”

    3. God puts the fear of Himself in us so there is a change in
our attitude to pursue His righteousness.
    4. God allows us to be drawn into difficult circumstances that we cannot
handle so that we will have a desire to trust Him.
B. Israel was continually in and out of idol worship since they came into the
     promise land.
   1. God had blessed them with land, animals, produce, and victory over
their enemies, yet they chose idols gods to worship.
  2. In 15-20 years after this revelation was given to Ezekiel, Israel was
taken captive into Babylon and Jerusalem and the temple was
       destroyed.
   3. King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon was selected by God to
take Israel captive for 70 years.
C. The saving and the cleansing of Israel and us comes through
Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
   1. It is God’s grace and mercy that chastises us for our sins and
provides forgiveness through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ.
   2. We are made clean through the obedience of God's Word.

       John 15:3-4
You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.
(the I in the verse is Jesus)

SUCCESSFUL LIVING IS OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S COMMANDS
V:24 "My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd. They will follow my laws and be careful to keep my decrees. 25 They will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your fathers lived. They and their children and their children's children will live there forever, and David my servant will be their prince forever.”
A. God has a plan for our salvation.
    1. The death of Jesus on the cross was the beginning of the fulfillment
         of this prophecy.
    2. Through the line of David, Jesus was born in the flesh.
    3. Jesus became the shepherd of all Israel which includes us.
B. Israel do accept Jesus as their shepherd and to this day, they are
fighting over the occupation of part of the promised land.
   1. The fulfillment of this prophecy for Israel will take place after
       the second coming of Christ.
   2. For the Christian, this prophecy has been fulfilled.
   3. The promised land for the church in heaven.

       John 14:3
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive
you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

   4. The latter part of the verse is our promise of eternity with Christ.

Bible Study Series, 23 Psalms verse 6, Claiming My Heavenly Home

CLAMING MY HEAVENLY HOME

23 PSALMS VERSE 6

Ps 23:1-6
23 The Lord  is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death.
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.

In the first 4 verses, the shepherd is leading the sheep
In verse 5 the shepherd plays host to the sheep.

In the first 5 verses the 23 Psalms is from the shepherd’s
Perspective .

In verse 6, the view is from the sheep’s perspective. The Sheep are
viewed as mature disciples.

Starting in verse 1, the disciples were immature. But in
Verse 6 the sheep are now mature disciples.

That is our life story as Christians. We start with our
introduction to Christ as babes. In life through
circumstances, trials and tribulations  we gradually become
mature disciples in Christ.

In Verse 6, the disciple is convinced  and confident
of his relationship with Christ.  He/she have become one
one with Him.

Verse 6 starts with the English word” surely”. The word in Hebrew
Is “ak” which means only or no doubt.

In order to arrive at the  conviction  of “only goodness and mercy” the disciple has been transformed from being immature to complete maturity in Christ.

Let’s consider three areas of transformation that must take place
for a disciple to make this proclamation; “Only goodness and mercy
will follow me”. A transformation. With God. His neighbor and
Himself must take place to make that proclamation.

I. RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
    1. He loves the Lord with heart, mind and sole .
    2.  He surrendered completely to the Lord.
    3. He studies the Bible and believes every
        Word applies to his life
    4. The disciple lives according to God’s commands
    5. He looks for ways to bless the Lord daily
    6.  He developed complete trust in the Lord Jesus.
        a. How does this happen? It is in the first 4 verses.
        b. The shepherd led him to green pasture and still waters
        c. The Shepherd gave His disciples rest and peace when trouble
            was all round them.
         d. To strength their faith the shepherd led the disciples
             through valleys of deep darkness.
         e. The disciples had been in places they knew that should not have
been but the shepherd led them out.
          f. The disciples had been in situations that they could see no way
out, but the shepherd rescued them.
          h. The disciples had knocked down, kicked around and counted
out, but the Shepherd stepped in the ring with victory.
    7. The disciples became convinced that Lord was on their side.
       a. While their enemies looked on, the Shepherd prepared a table
            before them.
        b. Their enemies look on in frustration thinking
they were out, but the Shepherd stepped in , dressed them in
wedding clothes and serve the wedding cake of salvation.

ATTITUDE TOWARD HIS NEIGHBOR
1. He loves his neighbor as himself.
2. The disciple is in the state of mind where he treats everybody
     right

3. He is aware of his enemies and blesses them with the prayer
      of forgiveness.
4. When he is treated wrong, he blesses them with kindness
5. He is quick to forgive his neighbor for any wrong done to him
6. He forces himself to consider the neighbors point of view.
7. He uses his gifts and talents to serve the Lord by helping thoses
in need  to bring glory to His name.

RESTORATION OF HIMSELF
1.The disciple recognizes that he is a work of God in progress.
2. He recognizes God’s goodness in his life
He is favored by the Lord.
3. The disciple now sees all things as good. He sees the bad
as good to be worked in his life.   Rom 8:28,  All things
    work together for my good.
4. He recognizes the mercy of God in his life.
Mercy is God forgiving the guilty.
     a. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God   Rom 3:23
     b. The disciple is confident in faithfulness of God to forgive
his sins as he confesses them.  1 John 1:9
 5. The disciple is living in trouble times. His enemies are all
around him, yet he has no fear but follows God. 2 Tim  1:7
 6. The disciple righted his wrongs before God and man
 7.  He confesses his sins daily.

HE DEVELOPLED AN ATTITYDE OF PRAISE
He praises God with his lips and his service
He brings his tithes and offering to the store House   Mal 3:10

He shouts for joy in middle of this coronavirus
He not afraid to let the world know that he serves
The one true and living God.

He serves the Lord with gladness.

Notice, it is the shepherd that now following the disciples with
His Goodness and His mercy.

The Second Proclamation

“I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”  WHY?

There is an abundance in the Lord’s House
   John 15:7
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will,
and it shall be done unto you.
There is love in the Lord’s House

      John 15:10
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have
kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

There is Joy in the Lord’s House
John 15:11
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

There is friendship in the Lord’s House
John 15:14
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

There is peace in the Lord’s House
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

There is salvation in the Lord’s House
Acts 4:12
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by whom we must be saved."

“I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever”
The disciple claims heaven as his current home.

    Phil 3:20-21
20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from
there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to
bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that
they will be like his glorious body.

This is why we say, this to will pass,  this virus will pass.

The disciple claims heaven as his final destination
    2 Cor 5:1
Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a
building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.

Dr Martin Luther King said in one of his final speeches,
I have been to the mountain top and seen the promise land
I not fear any man. My eyes have seen the glory of the Lord.

The disciple claimed his home in the new Heaven and Earth

Rev 21:1-2
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.

That bride is us

The disciple claims himself to be the bride of Christ
John 3:29
The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom's voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete.

If we chose, we can have joy in this pandemic time

The disciple claims eternal life
   Rev 20:12
Another book was opened, which is the book of life.

   Rev 20:15
If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown
   into the lake of fire.

   Rev 21:3
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of
God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and
God himself will be with them and be their God.

Amen

Rev. M. Mitchell

This Week's Sunday School Lesson, "Jesus Is Coming Back:, Jeremiah 23:1-8, 5/3/2020

JESUS IS COMING BACK

Jeremiah 23:1-8

GOD CHASTISES THOSE HE LOVES
V:1. "Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasture!" declares the Lord . 2 Therefore this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says to the shepherds who tend my people: "Because you have scattered my flock and driven them away and have not bestowed care on them, I will bestow punishment on you for the evil you have done," declares the Lord.
A. The word “woe” is an expression of God’s dissatisfaction with the
     Kings of Israel.
    1. After the death of King Solomon, the nation of Israel became
       divided.
    2. A series of kings came into power who led God’s people astray.
    3. They worshipped idol gods which angered the true living God.
B. The kings led the people away from God, with their evil practices.
    1. God sent the king of Babylon to destroy Jerusalem and the temple.
    2. The people of Israel were taken captive into Babylon for 70 years.
    3. The kings died in captivity
 C. This is a lesson to each of us who teach the Word of God to others.
      1. We must be careful to teach the truth.
      2. We cannot ignore the true meaning of the Word to present our
           own ideas.
      3. If we misuse the responsibility God has given us, we will answer
           to Him.

          Mark 9:42
"And if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin,
it would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a large
             millstone tied around his neck.”
  4. Those who teach the Word must spend time studying the Word.

             2 Tim 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth
not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

JESUS WILL RESCUE US
V:3. "I myself will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and will bring them back to their pasture, where they will be fruitful and increase in number. 4 I will place shepherds over them who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid or terrified, nor will any be missing," declares the Lord.
A. God’s plan of redemption was designed for Jesus to be borne in the
the flesh through the nation of Israel to be our redeemer.
   1. The attitude we have and the sins we commit does not change God’s
      divine plan.
   2. Notice, God plan for you includes the good time and the bad time
   3. Your sins may cause you to stray away from God, but His
plan for you remains the same.
B. God chastises those that He loves.      Jeremiah 25:9
   1. The nation of Israel was taken into captivity for 70 years
because of their failure to obey God’s commands.
   2. For 490 years the nation of Israel failed to allow the land to rest
       during the Sabbath years.
   3. The 70 year captivity was a punishment to Israel and to allow
the promise land to rest its Sabbath years.    2 Chronicles 36:21.
C. Once the punishment was completed, the Lord Himself brought
     Israel out of captivity.

        2 Chron 36:22-23
22 In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word
of  the Lord  spoken by Jeremiah, the Lord  moved the heart of Cyrus
king of   Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and to put
        it in writing:
23 "This is what Cyrus king of Persia says:
"'The Lord , the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the
earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in
Judah. Anyone of his people among you — may the Lord  his Go
with him, and let him go up.'"

    1. It was the Lord who took Israel into captivity, and it was the Lord who
        brought them out of captivity.
    2. The Lord knows what you need, how long you need it, and when to
take you to the next step of your spiritual growth.
     3. Your enemy is designed by God to strengthen you and bring
          you closer to Him.

THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
V:5. "The days are coming," declares the Lord,
"when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch,
a King who will reign wisely
and do what is just and right in the land.
6 In his days Judah will be saved
and Israel will live in safety.
This is the name by which he will be called:
The Lord Our Righteousness.
7 "So then, the days are coming," declares the Lord, "when people will no longer say, 'As surely as the Lord  lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,' 8 but they will say, 'As surely as the Lord  lives, who brought the descendants of Israel up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.' Then they will live in their own land."

A. This prophecy will not be fulfilled until the second coming of Christ.
    1. The righteous, shepherd Jesus Christ, was placed in charge
of Israel after His death on the cross.

    2. Matt 28:18
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given
unto me in heaven and in earth.
     3. However, the nation of Israel rejected Jesus as their Savior.

         Rom 1:28
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God
gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not
         convenient;

     4. Even though Israel rejected Jesus by sending Him to cross,
God’s plan of redemption did not change.

        Rom 11:26-27
And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:
"The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from
Jacob. 27 And this is my covenant with them when I take away their
          sins."

    5. This prophecy will be completely fulfilled at the second coming of
Christ during His 1000 year reign on earth.

               Rev 20:6
Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection.
The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests
of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

This 1000 year reign of Christ is not for the Church.
The 1000 year reign was designed by God to raise up a new Israel to fulfill His prophecy that all Israel will be saved.    Romans 11:26

Christ will rapture the Church at His second coming.

1 Thess 4:16-17
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

When Christ comes back for His Church, only none believers will be
left to go through the 7-year tribulation prior to His 1000 year
reign on earth.

The reason we can have joy during this pandemic is through the knowledge
that God planned this out before the foundation of the earth.  Ephesians 1:4

GOD IS IN CONTROL OF OUR PRESENT SITUATION
